Purpose of the Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll transform store guests into loyal customers. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, guiding them through our wide range of home furnishings. Your role is to inspire, excite, and help guests discover styles that reflect their lives—designing rooms they’ll love to live in. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class customer service and create a welcoming store experience.

• Maintain a professional presence at the front desk; engage with guests in a cordial, respectful manner.

• Process sales orders accurately, following cash handling protocols.

• Assist customers with credit applications and financing options.

• Address and resolve customer concerns independently when possible.

• Support store opening/closing procedures, including cash reconciliation.

• Assist with inventory management, loss prevention, and bi-annual inventory checks.

• Consistently meet and exceed sales goals, KPIs, and performance standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Legally authorised to work in the US.

• Minimum age: 18 years.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (with or without accommodation).

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• 1+ year of customer service or sales experience (preferred).

• Outgoing, friendly, and approachable with strong interpersonal skills.

• Excellent communication skills that inspire action.

• Creative thinker who enjoys sharing ideas.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
